Alex gave her the cold shoulder because just a few moments earlier, Alex assumed incorrectly that Megan's convent was located on a Sioux Indian reservation when in fact it was on a reservation occupied by two smaller tribes which Alex appeared to have never heard of. Alex doesn't like being stumped, especially not by those of the opposite sex to whom he normally condescends, so he gave her the ultimate Alex smackdown: the "OK" and slow walk away from the contestant and back to his little podium.
